Kamdhenu University was established by the Government of Gujarat in the year 2009. The Library was started in the year 2015. The Primary aim of the Library is to support the objectives of the University viz. Education, Research and Extension Education. The mission of the Library is to provide University students with the information they need to achieve their highest academic potential and help them acquire research skills necessary for lifelong learning and to support teaching faculty & administrative staff and to participate in interactive information to exchange within the wider library/educational community. Another mission of the Library is to provide information services and access to digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the faculty, students and researchers. The Library is one of the central support services to the vision and mission of the Kamdhenu University. '
